Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is an engaging fixed shooter arcade game where players must defend against creepy critters like centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas using their bugblaster. Your objective is to survive for as long as you can in this thrilling game. The bugblaster shoots small darts at the segmented centipede, which typically comprises 10 to 12 body parts along with its head. Each body segment of the centipede transforms into a mushroom when hit. Interestingly, each piece then independently continues its descent towards you, adding to the challenge. To vanquish the centipede, it’s crucial to aim for its head as only shooting it will lead to its destruction.
